On August 29, a modern-day Lilith Fair is taking place in Irvine, CA. Olivia Rodrigo’s Daisy Chain Fields music festival is bringing together an eclectic mix of women in music, from fresh faces like Rachel Chinouriri to legends like Stevie Nicks, for a day celebrating community, creativity, and the power of women in music. Net proceeds from the festival also support nonprofits including Black Mamas Matter Alliance, FreeFrom, and Baby2Baby.

With the countdown officially on, there’s only one thing left to do: manifest the setlists. We’ve picked the songs we’re hoping to hear from every artist on the lineup; consider it our unofficial Daisy Chain Fields playlist.

Quiet Light

Song: “Berlin” 

Riya Mahesh, aka Quiet Light, is making some of the most interesting experimental pop music out there. “Berlin,” a song about the dissolution of love, draws you in with its production and then hits you with its lyrics. Quiet Light is the first act of the festival, so get to Great Park as soon as the gates open so you don’t miss her!

Eli

Song: “Nobody’s Girl”

Eli gets vulnerable on a track that tackles self-worth, romantic validation, and unreturned affection. Calling it the “conceptual thesis” of her debut album, we’re hoping the crowd at Daisy Chain Fields is prepared to belt “Who’s gonna tell me I’m pretty? / Who’s gonna love me through stages?” While picturing themselves as the main character in a 2000s romcom.

Rachel Chinouriri

Song: “One song away from crying”

Ahead of her album, I think I spoke too soon coming out in October; Rachel Chinouriri gave us a glimpse into this new era with the release of the lead single “One song away from crying.” A track that will have you dancing while simultaneously reflecting on those nights where you had to push the pain down to get through.

Devon Again

Song: “Never Goes Away”

While Devon has recently blessed our ears with new singles “this time it’s different” and “snake the drain.” I always find myself going back to listen to her EP In Order, which came out in 2025. The second-to-last song, “Never Goes Away,” is a standout for me. A stripped-back track that finds Devon reminiscing on the good, bad, and bittersweet memories from a relationship.

Die Spitz

Song: “Go Get Dressed”

While melancholy tracks aren’t always going to excite a festival crowd, I hope Die Spitz takes a moment to slow their set down with this short track that seems to capture their latest album’s ethos in a few lines: “I just need some substance/something to consume.”

Santigold

Song: “L.E.S. Artistes”

Put on any song from Santigold’s debut album Santigold, and you are instantly transported back to a time when Gossip Girl was on air, and Tumblr was becoming more relevant by the day. One song that captures the essence of the times perfectly is “L.E.S. Artistes,” which gives us a glimpse into the hipsters and scenesters Santigold encountered when she first moved to New York. Let’s hope there are enough millennials in the crowd who can give this song the love it deserves.

Bikini Kill

Song: “Rebel Girl”

It would be criminal for Bikini Kill to perform at a women-led festival and not open or close their set with this classic. There’d be no better feeling than yelling “Rebel girl, you are the queen of my world” with an enthusiastic crowd.

Mitski

Song: “Instead of Here” 

Mitski writes some of the most introspective and heart-wrenching music of our time, and that streak continues with “Instead of Here,” a morose tune about isolation from her latest album, Nothing’s About to Happen to Me.

The Breeders 

Song: “Cannonball” 

Because Daisy Chain Fields has such a diverse lineup that spans generations, legendary alternative rock band The Breeders are set to perform, and I am fingers crossed that “Cannonball” is high up on the set list. As soon as those beginning guitar notes start, I bet the crowd will go wild.

Doechii

Song: “SLIDE”

Doechii is known for putting on a show, so there is no doubt that her setlist will be absolute perfection. Still, if I had to ask for one song to get everyone moving and in a good mood, it’s the vibey “SLIDE,” which honestly should have been the song of the summer back in 2024.

Garbage

Song: “Stupid Girl”

Sometimes we need a reminder not to squander our opportunities and talents like the protagonist in “Stupid Girl,” and instead go after what we want. It’s 2026; there’s no room to be complacent and tuned out of what’s happening in the world around us.

Chappell Roan

Song: “California”

Although she recently joined Noah Kahan to sing “California” at his Rose Bowl show, I’m hoping this introspective song about leaving one’s hometown to pursue your dreams and the bumps experienced along the way can still find its way on the setlist. It’s only fitting that attendees get the chance to sing “Come get me out of California” as the sun sets in Irvine.

Not For Radio

Song: “Magnet”

Maria Zardoya’s solo project Not For Radio launched around this time last year and has let The Marías’ lead singer stretch herself sonically and creatively. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the haunting track “Magnet,” about obsessing over a person you can only have in your dreams, finds its way on the setlist.

Olivia Rodrigo & Special Guests

Song: “maggots for brains”

Similar to Frank on TikTok, something happens to me when the bridge of “maggots for brains” starts, and a definite highlight of Daisy Chain Fields would be dancing with reckless abandon in a crowd of people as Olivia sings this on stage. Here’s to hoping!
