We got to chat with actress Nichole Galicia, who can be seen in the Oscar-winning film “Once Upon A Time…in Hollywood.”

You started out as a model. When did you realize you wanted to make the shift to acting? 

Acting happened very organically for me. I would say I transitioned into acting from modeling rather than having a childhood dream of becoming an actor.

How did modeling help prepare you for an acting career? 

Modeling taught me subtly how a slight movement could change everything. 

What was your favorite aspect of filming Once Upon A Time…in Hollywood? 

My favorite aspect of filming Once Upon A Time…In Hollywood was working with Quentin Tarantino again. He is a genius and a pleasure to work with.

If you were back in 1969, who is an actor or actress you would love to work with? 

Burt Reynolds, Nichelle Nichols, Diahann Carroll, Jerry Lewis

This is your second time being in a Tarantino film. What have you learned from working with him? 

Tarantino taught me to enjoy the entire process and that Burt Reynolds was the best interviewee ever!

What advice do you have for aspiring actors? 

My advice to aspiring actors is that when you finally get into that audition, those 3-5 minutes totally belong to you. Have your way with the room. Have fun. And then let it go.
