The Brooklyn Bowl could not have been a better fit for the “BUZZKILL” World Tour’s nostalgic vibe. The walls were filled with down-the-clowns, arcade games were scattered throughout the space, and there was a fully functional bowling alley.
A diverse crowd filled the venue, and some parents were spotted accompanying their kids to their first concert. The pre-show playlist got the concertgoers amped up for the show, playing hits from artists like Ariana Grande and Olivia Rodrigo. In a fun added touch, many fans in attendance were wearing red in support of Lapid’s debut album.

The show kicked off with Fig, who opened with the songs “Feel Again” and “Splinter,” then shared the story behind her next song, “The Goo,” which the crowd loved.

In a fun turn of events, midway through the set, Fig and her counterpart, David, ran a trivia game with the crowd, and people won prizes ranging from Ramen noodles to Lego sets. Rounding out Fig’s third show on the “BUZZKILL” World Tour, she previewed an unreleased song.

After getting everyone excited with a pre-show message. Lyn opened her set with the song “Buttons” before quickly transitioning to “Coraline” and “Producer Man.” She took some time to reminisce with the crowd about the last time she was in Philly, when she played just a year and a half ago at the Foundry. Although performing in a bowling alley was new for her, she wasted no time incorporating the setting as an inside joke throughout the show.
She kept the crowd energized throughout the set, playing fan favorites like “Back Up Plan,” “Eastside,” “Room for You,” and “The Alternative.” She even took a moment to personally sing “Poster Boy” to a lucky fan in the crowd.

Another fun feature of the show is when “Into You” by Ariana Grande starts playing, and Lapid’s team puts on a runway show to promote the tour’s exclusive merch.
The “BUZZKILL” World Tour provides fans with a fun experience in an intimate setting, allowing her music, which could be described as sad girl pop with a fun pop-rock twist, to shine. For fans just discovering her music, her sound is reminiscent of Ruth B with a bit of an edge, and you’re in for a treat when you experience it live.
